The invention relates to devices for training and exercise pets, and more precisely to the teams for dogs, designed for walking, training and as a riding equipment.
Known carrying and pulling the load muzzle harness device with easily shortened leash, described in US patent N 5950570, cl. A 01 K 15/00. This known device contains a muzzle and a harness that has dorsal, shoulder and chest elements, as well as an abdominal belt and fasteners for connecting these movable elements with each other, while the chest element has a V-shape held on the chest with the help of the straps attached to the muzzle . In this device there are loads that are freely suspended on the girth and shoulder elements.
The main purpose of this known device is to train, retain and pacify a dog, as well as use it for riding purposes.
This well-known device is very complicated in construction (many connecting straps and buckles), which put pressure on the working muscles of the dog, creating inconvenience and restricting the freedom of its movement. The V-shaped form of the chest element does not provide a uniform fit to the dog and does not exclude the possibility of its slipping from the shoulders in the absence of a muzzle (that is, when there are no connecting straps).
Free hanging of goods causes them to slam on the sides, which creates discomfort for the dog and does not exclude the possibility of causing rubbing of its skin. In addition, this known device cannot be used for dogs with weak cervical vertebrae, due to the occurrence of possible damage to them if the device is incorrectly adjusted.
The technical task of the present invention is to develop a universal harness for dogs, which, having a simple constructive implementation, would provide an even distribution of traction on almost all muscle groups, would not constrain the movement of the dog, thereby creating comfort, and also increase the strength of the nodes of the harness element .
The technical problem is solved by the fact that in harness for dogs in the form of a strap having back, shoulder and chest elements, a cinch and fasteners for connecting the elements to each other, according to the invention, the chest element is made of a single cut and has the original shape of an inverted triangle with arcuate sides that provide a dense and a uniform fit of this element to the dog’s sternum, a belt is attached to the top of the triangle, attached by a clasp to the girth, rigidly fastened to the spinal element, and at the ends at the base The triangle has fasteners for attaching the triangular chest element to the shoulder, all the elements of the strap are made in the form of multilayer belts of elastic material, an insert made of synthetic material is placed between the layers of the spinal belt, and in the junction with the spinal element (belt) there is a semiring for leash or reins.
This harness has a simple constructive implementation, since there are no straps and straps connecting it with a muzzle, which ensures the free movement of the animal, does not create excessive loads on the shoulder and neck muscles of the dog. The triangular chest element provides a snug fit to the dog’s sternum, evenly distributes the load and eliminates the possible slipping of the strap from the shoulders of the animal. This harness is used mainly as a pleasure. To use the proposed harness as a sled according to the invention, it will improve the dorsal element, which is performed single-cut and trident in shape, the cinch is firmly sewn into the teeth, and the dorsal element is multi-layered and there is an insert made of synthetic material between its layers with a cinch placed half rings for the reins.
This form of the spinal element creates the freedom of movement of the dog without losing traction, eliminates the squeezing of working muscles (shoulder, chest, etc.).
The presence of a synthetic insert between the layers of the spinal element retains the strength of this element when a load is applied. The riding harness has the same advantages as the walking harness.
To use this strap as a training, according to the invention, it additionally provides pockets for goods that are rigidly fixed to the girth, shoulder and chest elements and that are placed evenly and proportionally over the entire area of the harness, while the number of pockets that are to be filled with weights is adjusted depending on which muscle groups are to be developed, and the harness itself additionally contains a collar with cargo pockets.
Rigid attachment of cargo pockets eliminates slamming on the sides, thereby creating no discomfort for the dog. Uniform distribution of the load over the entire area of the harness does not hinder movement of the animal, which feels comfortable in it (runs, jumps, plays with other dogs), which allows the animal to develop almost all muscle groups.
To exclude damage to the dog’s skin according to the invention, tongues made of leather are provided at the locations of the fasteners (metal buckles).

The proposed harness is made in the form of a strap having a spinal element 1 (Fig. 1), in which the shoulder elements 2 are rigidly sewn, the chest element 3, the girth 4 rigidly sewn into the dorsal strap 1, and the fastener 5 in the form of metal buckles, by means of which all These elements are interconnected. The chest element 3 is made of single cut and has the original shape of an inverted triangle 6 (FIG. 2) with arcuate sides 7, which ensures a tight and uniform fit of this element to the sternum 8 of the dog, as shown in FIG. 1. At the top of the triangle 6 (Figure 2), a belt 9 is rigidly sewn, which is attached by a fastener 5 to the girth 4, and at the ends at the base of this triangle 6 there are fasteners 5 for attaching the chest element 3 to the shoulder elements 2.
Elements 1, 2, 3, 4 and 9 are each made in the form of a multilayer belt of elastic material, such as leather, while the insert 10 (Figure 4) of synthetic material is sewn between the layers of the spinal belt 1, providing the necessary strength of the spinal element, while In the place of the rigid connection of this element with the cinch 4, a half ring 11 (FIG. 1) is installed for a leash 12 or reel 13. The proposed harness can be used as a training. To do this, it provides pockets 20 for goods (figure 10-12), which are rigidly fixed on the girth 4, shoulder 2 and chest 6 elements and are evenly and proportionally throughout the entire area of the strap. The number of pockets 20 that are to be loaded is adjusted depending on which muscle groups are to be developed. As a load, it is used: metal, sandbags with sand or shot, etc. Pockets 20 allow the use of loads of different weights, making the harness universal both for slow-moving dogs and more prepared for loads.
For more varied training of a dog and certain muscle groups, the additional use of pockets 20 on a collar 21 is possible, which increases the variety of cargo combinations for an animal.
Thus, the proposed harness is universal, has a simple design and is very convenient to operate.
